KKC committee meeting Minutes of meeting 15th Nov 2009 Present: Jeremy, Kev, Gregor, Neil, Maurice, Bridget, Russell, George
- Slalom boat purchase - Maurice explained that Graeme and Russell are now paddling slalom to competent level and that is was slalom that got them out onto the river. Therefore slalom might be the way to get another bunch of youngsters safely out on to the river. Kev asked where the slalom boats would be stored. Maurice pointed out that when the boys are competing everybody else is in club boats. Kev suggested that Maurice and Neil discuss the specification of the boats and arrange to have the club logo glassed into the deck. Maurice suggested two boats for an average teenage size paddler. MC/NMacd
- Kit – at the pool tonight we ran out of decks. There were four neoprene decks in the boat store at the end and Joe has one, so there is one missing. Two decks will be needed for the slalom boats and Maurice will price them. Neil will order new air bags. Kev has potentially three sets of sea paddles to sell and the club probably needs one more set. Jeremy will send Neil the boat store inventory list compiled in the summer. MC/NMacd/JW
