Halloween Masked Paddle - 2008/10/22 09:13
Hi Folks,
Gonna be doing a masked Halloween Paddle on the River Nith on Sunday 2nd November. Has been done as an unofficial club trip for a few years so feel free to come along. Meeting at the picnic site put in at 10.am and planning to run the whole river which includes the gorge (Grade 3+). There is an easier option of getting out above the gorge for those that aren’t up to it but this will still include grade 3 paddling.
Only advice about Halloween masks is to make sure you widen the eye sockets for a better view as limited peripheral vision can make the river a bit more tricky. If you want more information, you can email me on: conrad.king@lineone.net.
