Great idea. Not sure what might happen paddling wise, but I'd put a vote in for surfing. Looks like it could be ideal conditions:

BBQ wise, I'm very happy to invite you over for a BBQ at mine. As you say we can celebrate the end of the course, and have the world première of Alistair's "Awe" footage from week 5. Might even set up the rolling pool!
I'll try to squeeze some cash out of Kev for BBQ sundries, but otherwise, bring something you like incinerated on a BBQ, and something you like to drink.
