Prestwick Prom 100 - 2010/05/28 09:25
I've been speaking to the organisers of the Prestwick Prom 100 celebrations, and it would be great if the Kayak Club could be represented there - to pull in new members and attract more people to the sport in general.
The celebration day is on the 26th June, and there will be a lot of beach front activity.
If you are free that day to help out, please could you show your interest by replying to this message?

Hi all,
Many thanks to all that have agreed to lend a hand at the Prestwick Prom 100 celebrations this Saturday, 26th June.
The basic plan is this:
* Meet at 10am at the Citadel.
* Load up a selection of craft.

* Depending on weather conditions, take people for a paddle in duo, canoe, or small group dependant on conditions and availability of staff.
* Answer questions from interested parties, point them at the web site for membership forms and other info.
* Pack up once things quieten down, return stuff to the store and go for a wee half in Prestwick somewhere.
