Highland Paddling Trip - 2009/01/24 21:45
Jeremy Webb is looking to team up with Stornoway Canoe Club for a trip to the Highlands to paddle some intermediate rivers (Grade 3-4) on the weekend of 6th March. If that sounds like your cup of tea, contact Jeremy, or post a message here.
UPDATE: Looks like we'll have at least 3 from the Stornoway club, plus me*, Nic*, Neil*, Jake*, Alistair*, Joe* George and Andy expressing an interest.

I'm going to book accommodation for the trip by the end of this week, so please could you confirm with me if you are DEFINITELY coming.
UPDATE Accomodation is booked for the weekend, at Snowgoose Mountain Centre for 11. Click for location details.
The new venue is to put us in the centre of some great river options, and also so we can catch some of the Fort William Mountain Film Festival. Saturday night is paddling movies night! 
Make your way up by any method available and we'll make some plans from there. I expect to be there around 7pm.

Nearly time to head to the Highlands. As mentioned above, please make your way to the accommodation by any means possible. Us the forum to share transport if needed.
We'll try and get tickets for the Film Festival paddling night on Friday either by taking a trip into the Fort, or online. http://www.mountainfestival.co.uk/lectures.asp#paddling
