Saturday 17th September paddle - 2011/09/16 08:20 Paddlers,

It looks like rain again so there's a good chance of plenty water. At the moment it's probably going to be the Nith for us, however that could change depending on how much water we have so post here or text if you plan on tagging along.
As we all saw last week, the Nith gets big quickly and swims can be long, so, the usual disclaimer applies, this is not a club trip and we are not experts nor coaches so make up your own mind before you get in. having said that, no pain no gain!

If we're running the Nith and the level is right, we plan to spend an hour or so on safety and rescue, concentrating on ropework.

Re:Saturday 17th September paddle - 2011/09/17 17:27 another cracker of a day with the river sitting perfect at 3 foot and a first for Carol on the Nith too, well done Carol, you did great and i hope we'll see you on the river again soon.
A few thrills and spills in the gorge but we all got through so well done everyone!

Unfortunately we never got around to rope work but we did polish up our skills chasing boats.
