Glasgow Paddlesport Centre Open day 4th June - 2011/05/26 18:03
Passing this on from Stewart Pitt (SCA)
For those not aware there is a paddlesport centre planned for Glasgow city centre. On completion there will be changing rooms, on site boat storage, polo pitches and most importantly a pumped mini whitewater course. This will be fantastic training and race site for us. Around £400k of the £2.2m has already been raised and additional funds continue to come in.
So whats the point of this email?
To boost awareness with the local community and continue to demonstrate the support of the canoeing community there is an open day planned for 4th June, details on attached link.
I am looking for attendance from slalom paddlers (and any polo people who pretend to do slalom and so are in this distribution list). There will be gates up so you can get some training in but also ideally help for a while coaching and demonstrating to some of the come and try people.
