Bird Fanciers? - 2006/12/01 18:28
I have been contacted by Brian Shaw of the Ayrshire Rivers Trust, who are looking to do a Bird Count of the River Doon valley area next Saturday.
Clearly they see a canoe as a good platform for doing this. Are any of you free next Saturday for a float down the Doon counting Birds?
The stretch in question is from Bogton Loch to Patna. A little ornithological expertise would go a long way, but there should be potential to escort an experienced counter, if you have a Canadian / K2.
