Welcome to the Kyle Kayak Club
Written by Web Master

The Kyle Kayak Club is for kayakers and canoeists of all abilities. Whether you are a complete beginner, experienced white water paddler, or enthusiastic sea kayaker, you will find like minded people in the club.

We have a fleet of kayaks, canoes and all the supporting safety equipment. We run trips most weekends, training pool sessions in the winter months, and occasional weekends away.

Kayak Club Social
Written by Jez Webb

With the 2010 paddling season fast approaching, we are holding a club social on Sunday 28th February.

The idea is that it will give everyone a chance to meet outside of the pool, and informally discuss some plans for 2010.

Meet in the West Kirk, Ayr after the pool session.

Membership Directory

One of the things to come up from the recent AGM was that it was difficult to get contact details for people in the club.

This problem is easily solved, as the club Forum has a Membership Directory  which is ONLY accessible to people who log in, and are therefore club members.

Please do take the opportunity to add your details to the directory, including:

  • Your preferred contact details
  • Your paddling experience
  • The sort of kayaking you are looking to do
If you have an SCA / BCU coaching qualification, could you also put Coach next to your name, so it is easy to see who are coaches.

If you still don't have a login for the club, contact me.

We've received clarification from Andy Murray of the SCA as to which courses can be used to update your coaching status.

The list is in this PDF.
